If you watched the episode of Taste le Tour last night I bet you were hoping that Gabriel was going to give you the recipe for those delectable Meert Waffles, weren’t you?

Well, don’t despair!  As delish as Gabriel’s mousse and prawn dish looked, my focus this evening has been recreating the Meert (or Lille) Waffle.  Aside from the fact that mine are heart shaped as opposed to the traditional oblong or circle, they were super easy to make and very, very yummy.  Hello France!
