Duck…need I say more?


Okay, well I’ll say a bit more!  Todays challenge was Roast Duck with Prunes .  It was a really delicious recipe.  Sweet and sticky, tender and rich.  Just a great combination of flavours.  If you have not tried cooking with duck at home, give it a go.

See you all tomorrow for Snails with Herb and Walnut Butter!  It’s been a little difficult sourcing guest eaters for this one!

    We share your love of Duck and living in the Aquitaine requires enormous willpower not to over indulge in all things to do with the wonderfully versatile bird.

    Prunes, Fois Gras, Confit de Canard, Seafood of all kinds make this region a real foodies paradise – dont get me started on the wine.
