Crunchy almond biscuits and and yummy idea…

So, this afternoon I made Gabriel Gaté’s biscuits (Crunchy Almond ones to be exact) and this evening I turned them into this fantastic dessert … Best thing that I have eaten on tour yet (sorry Gabriel!).  Read about it here.  This one will definitely be making a return appearance! Here it is: Baked Gurnard with Fennel Puree

Okay, so it does not look that appealing, but it is quite a yummy dish and yet again, really simple to make.  Check out the recipe here to give it a go at home. See you all tomorrow for Gabriel Gaté’s Cherry Fruit Salad with Languedoc Brandy…now off to find out where to get cherries…

Coming up tonight: Baked Gurnard with Pureed Fennel

Here it is, Corsican Cheesecake!

Let me just start by saying that these Corsicans know how to make a cheesecake!  Gabriel Gaté’s Corsican Cheesecake is a decadent, luscious and light take on the type of cheesecake we Australians are probably most familiar with.  This recipe is really easy, quick and let’s face it, just plain yummy.  Next time you need…
