Hey, hey it’s the Nougat Cake from Tours (and a quick pastry tutorial)
Here it is – yummy Nougat Cake from Tours! My version replaces the required confit fruits with fresh pear and raspberry (due to some availability issues), but still a great combination nonetheless! Have a go at making this one at home and whip up your own pastry as well. C’mon, it’s easy!

Crunchy almond biscuits and and yummy idea…
So, this afternoon I made Gabriel Gaté’s biscuits (Crunchy Almond ones to be exact) and this evening I turned them into this fantastic dessert … Best thing that I have eaten on tour yet (sorry Gabriel!).
